What is CUET?
CUET (Common University Entrance Test) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the NTA for admission into top central universities like Delhi University, BHU, JNU, and many more. It assesses a student’s ability in Language, Subject Knowledge, and General Aptitude—all in a structured, objective format.
What subjects are included in CUET?
CUET is divided into three sections:
Domain Subjects (like Physics, Business Studies, etc.)
Language Test (English, Hindi & 11+ languages)
General Test (Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, General Awareness)
Who should appear for CUET?
Anyone aiming for undergraduate courses in central universities should take CUET. It’s ideal for students from any stream – Science, Commerce, or Humanities – seeking merit-based admissions.
How is CUET different from board exams?
Board exams test descriptive knowledge, while CUET is completely objective and tests your accuracy, speed, and aptitude using MCQs. It helps universities evaluate all students on a common scale.

What is the eligibility for CUET?
Students must have passed or be appearing in Class 12 with the required subjects for the course they’re applying to. Each university may have additional criteria, so always check individual university requirements.
How many times can I give CUET?
As of now, CUET is conducted once a year. If you’re not satisfied with your score, you can appear next year after Class 12 (if eligible).
What’s the exam pattern and marking scheme?
