Understanding NEET

What is NEET and who conducts it?

NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is the national-level entrance exam for admission to MBBS, BDS, and other medical courses in India. It is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

Students must have completed or be appearing for their 10+2 exams with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English. The minimum age is 17 years at the time of admission.

We provide personalized counseling, help with document collection, college/course selection, form filling, and complete application-to-admission support.

Yes, NEET is mandatory for both government and private medical colleges in India, and also required for Indian students seeking admission abroad.

Key documents include:

  • Recent passport-size photo

  • Signature

  • 10th & 12th mark sheets

  • Valid ID proof (Aadhaar, PAN, etc.)

  • Category certificate (if applicable)

Yes, NTA provides a correction window for limited fields. However, it’s better to get expert help during form filling to avoid mistakes.

There is no limit on the number of NEET attempts as long as you meet the age and qualification criteria.

Delguru helps you shortlist colleges based on your rank, category, budget, and location preference — ensuring the best-fit options for your career goals.
